Nityananda's temple is at the heart of Ganeshpuri. There are ceremonies throughout the day, beginning with morning Abishek and Arti. That starts at 4:30am, and I love it. Time seems to stand still and fly by at the same time.

This video is from the noontime Arti yesterday. You'll see the candle ceremony and hear some chanting. The temple priest doing the Arti is one of the brahmin priests that does ceremonies for the Ashram. If you watch to 11:53, you'll see a familiar face in the front row!

The temple grounds serve as a gathering place for people as well.

The line is people waiting to visit the Shiva temple. I took this on Mahashivratri, an especially auspicious day to visit the Shiva temple. The building behind the line is the kund. There are three large baths in there that are fed by hot springs. Because the baths are on the temple grounds, the water is sacred.

These shops that line the temple grounds remind me of shops on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach
