Leavin' on a jet plane

Boarding starts for my flight in 15 minutes! I just finished an airport yoga sequence. I should've taught it in class this month for the daily practice theme. I started with Uttanasana with a hip tip for my tailbone. Then a self sacrum press in Tadasana. Mini warrior 1 carried the release through my waist. Half moon gave me length in my thoracic vertebrae. I feel like a new woman!

I'm looking forward to getting settled in my seat so I can start my ujjayi pranayama. I know you can do ujjayi anywhere at anytime. I'm looking forward to closing my eyes, tuning out the external noise and riding the sound of my breath inside. That's not something I feel comfortable doing in the terminal. I'm feeling grateful for the portability of many of Svaroopa yoga's tools. Until the next post, I bid you adieu! 🙏😊🙏

I don't think the people around me notice, but I'm not sure. I have my eyes closed. And, on the plane, I put my earbuds in with active noise canceling. Otherwise, I can't hear the sound of my breath! I've never been asked what I was doing.

Kushala, I'm just curious. When you do Ujjayai pranayama on a plane do the passengers next to you notice it ? have you ever been asked what you are doing?

I hope your entire trip goes without any bad surprises!
